Zoom! and Nite White
With many over the counter bleaching
products available to the general population, more and
more people are wondering what are the benefits of dental
office bleaching.
Although many bleaching alternatives
exist today, it's generally well established that having
a dentist administered whitening treatment is still the
most effective and reliable method of achieving a full
bright smile. Our office offers traditional take-home systems
where the patient is given a bleaching kit along with customized
upper and lower mouth trays. Nite White is name of the
kit that we dispense. When used for a few hours a day for
2-3 weeks, patients often see dramatic results (About 6-9
shade improvement). For those patient who wish to accelerate
the whitening process, Dr Kodsi utilize the
latest in the state-of-the-art in-office power bleaching
system. As you might have seen on ABC's hit series: Extreme
Makeover, Zoom! was developed by Discus Dental in California
and has been in our office for over a year. Zoom! is a
very safe and effective way of whitening teeth. In many
cases, patients achieve a 6-9 shade improvement in just
three 15 minute, back-to-back sessions. Post operative
sensitivity is minimal, especially when the patients follow
the strict protocol that is established with the dentist.
Take home trays are still given to the patient with a booster
kit. The patient is often advised to utilize the take home
system as a follow up to the in office power bleaching
session.
Often times, bleaching can be the
first step in creating a beautiful smile. Dr. Kodsi have
extensive experience and are extremely proficient with
other esthetic procedures such as cosmetic bonding and
veneering which can further achieve one's ideal "dream" smile.
A beautiful smile helps boost one's self confidence and
can lead to more rewarding relationships in both business
and personal lives.
